Cat Stevens on the other hand... had moved on... moved up... and now moved back. (Neil Young has too.) I may post a present-day Cat Stevens singing the song. It's interesting to see.Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17070578562535678950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020013421218194456.post-66961148823703968702009-11-17T07:52:34.113-08:002009-11-17T07:52:34.113-08:00One of my favorite songs. One of my favorite songs.Glohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461740691498108166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020013421218194456.post-67516510673179278212009-11-07T10:38:57.850-08:002009-11-07T10:38:57.850-08:00@Dennis: I know Stevens had TB, but never heard ab...@Dennis: I know Stevens had TB, but never heard about any asylum, so I googled him. Wiki-pedia gives a good summary of his life: his sanity has never been in question. I think he represented a lot of people who are on a quest for truth. Unlike many musicians, he matured, grew, and used his fame for more than himself. <br />http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_StevensDonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17070578562535678950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020013421218194456.post-60717709375313125262009-11-05T00:08:39.990-08:002009-11-05T00:08:39.990-08:00I loved Cat Stevens. But his music was great.dennistheeremitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10801567321734091885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020013421218194456.post-19326887887015292902009-11-03T21:34:36.354-08:002009-11-03T21:34:36.354-08:00@September: In a few days, I'll post the same ...@September: In a few days, I'll post the same artist singing this same song... 35 years later. This post is really a response to your lament on children growing up too fast, plus your post of an artist I am unfamiliar with. So... I'm glad you enjoyed the song. It emotes. (It partially inspired me to go a-travelin' in my youth. "I had to go away." ;-)Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17070578562535678950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6020013421218194456.post-17315319031142272782009-11-03T16:35:13.003-08:002009-11-03T16:35:13.003-08:00It was truly a pleasure.
