Haiku -- Astronomic Harbinger

Gazing at the moon
I am reminded again
the sun is shining.

  1. Beautiful haikus, beautiful pictures.

    And haikus are my favorite.

And harbinger is one of my favorite words!!!

This particular poem reminds me of a sentiment in a song I know, that the sun's still above all the rain that may fall...so true and so hard to remember sometimes.

  2. Hmmm, that's a good one. I never thought about the moon that way!

  3. Wow... this is a knock your sox off haiku. It's so beautiful. It debunks our associations and turns them into something positive... in so few words... Perfect. :)

  4. Don,
That really is a perfect haiku.
Think you might be a Zen master (but a Christian one)!

  5. Dennis,

You get the award for digging into my blog's underbelly. (A four month old post, yet new to you.)

I like to try various styles. There's a sonnet hidden in this blog as well! (My one and only.)
